“A CREATIVE APPROACH TO PRESCHOOL"
“Our inspiration comes from the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. “
Second Semester Registration Begins December 4, 2017
The Creative Arts Early Learning program was founded in 2013. We believe that learning should be innovative, creative, and full of imagination. Our focus is on social collaboration, group work, and allowing the children to have their thoughts and all their questions valued.
We are a non-traditional preschool environment designed to better prepare children, ages 2-4, to successfully enter kindergarten, a step ahead of their peers. The unique learning environment of CAELC provides daily exposure to many creative art forms including: dance, poetry, yoga, music, arts & crafts, in addition to providing a familiarity with basic computer technology.
Our inspiration comes from the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. This approach values children as resilient, strong, capable, and full of wonder and knowledge.
Each day’s 5 hour program is designed to ensure that the children engage in communications, discovery activities, nature explorations, creative thinking, and using drawing, painting, sculpting and music as a form of self expression.
To ensure that our students receive the right balance of attention and care, space is limited to a maximum of forty children. CAELC programs run from September through June, with additional summer programs offered in July and August.
PRESCHOOL AGE GROUPS
EARLY PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
Early Education for 2 year olds
At this age, children make new discoveries daily. And as two-year-olds begin to express their independence, our Early Preschool program introduces them to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring.
Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with the early learning fundamentals they’ll need as they continue on to preschool, with a rich blend of music, art, and dramatic play.
Pre-school Education for 3 year olds
As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they feel ready to take on the world. Our Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners.
Through independent exploration, discovery activities, and hands-on learning, preschoolers develop early literacy, math, science, and social skills. A healthy dose of arts, music, and dancing keeps them active, too.
Pre-K Education for 4 year olds
Pre-kindergarten children are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime — kindergarten! And our Pre-kindergarten program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and small-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump into kindergarten.
